Episode - 088 Eric Bomblatus, Focusing on Education & Employment to Help Others
Eric Bomblatus was a self-directed high school student who personally sought out a private education at The Khabele Schools in Texas where the mission is for students to "falls in love with learning, realize their profound beauty, and live with courage and authenticity." This education began a trigectory for Eric to strive to improve the world through social services.
He is currently on assignment with AmeriCorps VISTA and has been working at Innovative Services NW for the Youth Impact Program since May 2015. His role is to help develop the program, which is designed to assist at-promise youth in becoming self-sufficient with a focus on education and employment. He also helps to provide social support groups which give youth a sense of community.
