"I call (this style of learning) willed-learning or willed-curriculum as well. From that, I'm interested in the unschooled perspective about freedom, responsibility, and genuine authentic learning. Where the learner actually gets to choose what to learn, where to learn, for how long to learn, whether to opt in or out, and it's really comes back to allowing people to unfold and to grow in very genuine, open, authentic ways."
"And the hope is that each and everyone of us can make a difference. All we have to do is not worry about other people but worry about ourselves and worry about how we interact with (others). If you're a teacher, a student or young person but if you're not in the teaching field, just (how we interact with) other people in the world."
