Episode 009 - Kami Harris, Homeschooling Teaches the Teacher
Kami Harris is in her tenth year of homeschooling. She graduated from Elementary Education back in 1997 from Utah State University. Since pulling her oldest child out of school after 1stgrade, she has continued to look for better ways to educate her children then the methodologies she experienced and learned while in public school and college. She loves teaching her children at home, and teaching youth at her local home school commonwealth group. She believes that each parent has the God given stewardship to be the expert in his/her own home and figure out the best way to educate their own children. Kami is married to Dustin Harris, has four children ages 7 to 17 and resides in Idaho.
